Job Posting: Safety Coordinator – Hospital Construction Project (Palm Beach Gardens, FL)

Project Duration: 1–3 Months

Compensation: $35–$40 per hour (No per diem offered for this role)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join an electrical contractor team on an 8-story hospital construction project in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This short-term role offers an immediate start and requires a strong commitment to safety compliance, on-site leadership, and coordination with project teams to ensure all work meets safety regulations and client expectations.

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• 40-hour work week

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities for the electrical contractor team.
• Conduct job site safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
• Deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks to crew members.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA standards and project-specific safety requirements.
• Collaborate with the project management team to address and mitigate safety risks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation and reports.

Required Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification (required)
• OSHA 510 certification (preferred)
• Experience managing safety on multi-story commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of electrical construction safety standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
