Job Title: Healthcare Transactional Attorney for Associate General Counsel Role

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Position Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week (No nights, weekends, or travel), hybrid

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly engaged Healthcare Transactional Attorney to support hospital operations and collaborate closely with doctors, executives, and other key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Advise and support hospital operations on transactional legal matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate mergers and acquisitions deals, asset purchase agreements, professional services agreements, medical services agreements, overage agreements, leases for hospital space, and other agreements related to hospital operations
• Address related regulatory compliance issues arising from transactional work
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital personnel, including physicians, executives, and other stakeholders, often requiring in-person meetings
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and be willing to assist beyond primary expertise to ensure team success
• Provide authoritative legal advice with confidence and maturity, particularly when engaging with high-level executives and medical professionals
• Contribute to a growing healthcare legal practice within a small, dynamic legal team

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licensed to practice law in Texas
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare transactional law, healthcare operations, or healthcare compliance and regulatory matters
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills on complex healthcare transactions
• Relationship-driven and comfortable working in-person to foster trust and collaboration
