Position Overview Put your warehouse order selector experience to work in an travel-based role supporting our network of 30+ distribution centers across the country. As part of our elite traveling team, you'll help ensure grocery store shelves stay stocked--making a real difference for families nationwide. What we offer: • $25/hr base pay • Weekly Per Diem • Performance-based incentive/production pay (varies by location) • 650-hour 1st assignment with a Completion Bonus • Opportunities for additional assignments based on operational need • Company paid individual hotel room and rental car • Opportunity to transfer to a permanent role at one of our 30+ distribution centers after your assignment Job Description Selectors work individually selecting full-case grocery products from warehouse pick slots using an electric riding pallet jack. You will either use order sheets or an audio headset. You will then fit the cases on a pallet, shrink wrap the bundles, transport pallets to the shipping dock and in some situations, load them onto a trailer for delivering to customers. All of our employees are expected to make safety their top priority. Job requirements: ~2-years of recent full case pick order selection experience in a production environment using pick-by-voice systems ~ Experience working in food/grocery distribution warehouse ~2-years of experience safely operating an Electric Riding Pallet Jack ~ Prior experience and ability to work in all of the following warehouse climate zones is required: Freezer (-20F to 0F), Perishable (28F to 60F), and Dry/Grocery (50F to 90F) Qualifications General Equivalency Diploma - General Studies, High School Diploma - General Studies Shift Company C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC About Our Company C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is an industry leader in supply chain solutions and wholesale grocery supply in the United States.
