We are a well established hardscape installation company looking to add an Administrative Assistant to fill receptionist and clerical duties at our main showroom. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality making guests feel comfortable and valued during interactions with our office. You will work a set schedule that’s free of weekend and evening hours (Monday through Friday 8am to 4:00pm). If you can help our company to run smoothly and are committed to doing your best work, then we want to hear from you. Applicants are encouraged to apply in person at 634 Old Dixie Hwy SW with your resume in hand.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming calls and schedule estimate appointments (no cold calling)

  • Maintain calendar of estimate appointments with Outlook

  • Be able to provide accurate information about our services. Don't worry - we will teach you

  • Greet visitors to our showroom

  • Maintain Sales Director’s schedule and make, adjust or cancel appointments as necessary

  • Assist in keeping showroom clean and welcoming

  • Overseeing social media accounts, creating/updating posts, and assisting with marketing using social media

  • Perform administrative tasks as needed, ie: creating invoices, email correspondence, data entry, record keeping

Skills needed

  • Strong computer experience and/or previous professional office experience - minimum 1 year

  • Effective communication and people skills

  • Good organizational abilities

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Customer service orientation

  • Hardscape experience not required but helpful

  • Bilingual communicators preferred
