Full-time Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) ( Irritable Bowel Disease ) – Danbury, CT
Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full time Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Danbury, CT. Come join us on our exciting journey as we grow the Digestive Health Institute at Nuvance Health by joining our Nuvance Health Medical Practice Gastroenterology Department. The position includes seeing patients both in the outpatient office and hospital, with a Monday-Friday workday schedule with no call responsibility. 
The ideal candidate will be a board certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology, Irritable Bowel Disease preferred. This is an employed position that includes a comprehensive benefits package, as well as allowances for CMEs and Dues. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout eastern New York and western Connecticut. 
Job Requirements:  
  • Experience working with hepatobiliary services
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • New York State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Federal DEA.
  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Internal Medicine or Gastroenterology experience preferred

Salary: $105,000/yr. -$150,000/yr. (commensurate with experience)
